Safety And Security

The Harbins Preparatory School makes the safety and security of our students, faculty and families our top priority. Of course, safety and security starts with our own faculty and staff. Our staff makes it a priority to know all of our students, their families and friends. We are extremely vigilant, keeping a close watch on the entire school campus and getting to know everyone's name.

Single Entrance

When you arrive at the school, you will see our car loop and a covered drop off area. This leads to a single door entrance into the administrative offices. This allows us to monitor any visitors and all students at the school.

Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office

Our school works hand-in-hand with the Gwinnett County Sheriff's office to be better prepared for any emergency situations. Officers also help with our morning traffic control to make sure everything runs smoothly during drop off.

Staff Background Check

All members of the school have completed Georgia background checks, drug tests and finger printing prior to starting their employment and then annually.

Controlled Access

All visitors must either be let in through the front door. Once inside the front office, the administration greets all visitors. If our staff does not know a visitor, we will not allow them to enter the school without authorization.
