Ms. Amy Ingram


 Ms. Ingram has been in the field of Education for almost 20 years teaching in both the public and private sector here in Gwinnett County. She holds a Specialist Degree in Education and is currently working towards her doctorate in Educational Administration. She enjoys the outdoors and watching her 11 year old son Matt play football and lacrosse.

K-5 Kindergarten: Ms. Sarah Looney

Ms. Looney has been teaching for seven years in Pre-K through 12th grade in both public and private school settings. She has three children ages eight, six, and three who attend Great Beginnings of Dacula. She enjoys teaching and is excited to be a part of the Harbins Prep Staff.


K-4 Pre-K 1: Ms. Christa Beaghan

Ms. Christa's passion has always been teaching and working with children. While working in childcare, Ms. Christa completed her Early Childhood degree in addition to student teaching for Gwinnett County Public Schools. Her children, Charlotte and Landon, attend Great Beginnings and Harbins Prep while she is teaching here in the program.


K-4 Pre-K 2: Ms. Kelsey Clark

Ms. Kelsey graduated from the University of Georgia and has taught Private K5 and Private Pre-K. She enjoys teaching and making learning extra fun for her students. Her husband is also a teacher in Gwinnett County, and their son Liam attends Harbins Prep in Ms. Christa's K4 - 1 Classroom. 

First grade at Harbins prep

Harbins Preparatory School is proud to announce the opening of our First Grade Classroom this coming 2019/20 school year. The First Grade Classroom will be lead by Ms. Leslie Peek. Ms. Peek is a 14 year teaching veteran - bringing with her years of teaching, classroom, and student experience that will lead to success for all of our First Grade Students. Ms. Peek joins Harbins Preparatory School from the Great Beginnings of Dacula Georgia Pre-K Program, where she taught for two years. 

Ms. Peek has a curriculum model that is based on making every student in her Classroom meet and exceed traditional county-school expectations for achievement. Ms. Peek's curriculum builds on the base created by our K-4 Pre-K and K-5 Kindergarten Classes.


Our Assistant Teachers

Ms. Hope Johnson


Ms. Johnson is the assistant teacher in Ms. Looney's K-5 Kindergarten Classroom. Ms. Johnson has 5 years of childcare experience, including previously teaching at Great Beginnings of Dacula. She is currently working towards her CDA. Ms. Johnson is very excited to assist Ms. Looney in helping your child learn! 

Ms. Miriam Kuykendall


Ms. Miri has a B.A. in Theatre Education from Winthrop University. She taught in North Carolina for 11 years before moving with her family back to Georgia in September. She is currently teaching with Ms. Kelsey in our K-4 Pre-K 2 Classroom. Ms. Miri is excited to be working with our amazing students and staff at Harbins Prep!

Ms. Cathy Stephens


Ms. Cathy has worked in Early Childhood Education for many years. She currently holds a CDA and has taught at Great Beginnings of Dacula since 2015 in the Private Pre-K Program. Ms. Cathy is excited to begin a new journey with Harbins Preparatory School and is looking forward to seeing the programs continue to grow!
