Ms. Peek joins Harbins Prep this year as Principal and First Grade Teacher. Ms. Peek is a natural leader and Harbins Prep is honored to have her leading both or Students and our Staff. Ms. Peek has 15 years of teaching experience. She brings this experience in teaching, classroom management, and student experience that has proven to lead her students to successful educational careers over the years. Most recently, Ms. Peek joins Harbins Preparatory School most from the Great Beginnings of Dacula Georgia Pre-K Program, where she taught for two years.
Ms. Peek has a curriculum model that is based on making every student in her Classroom meet and exceed traditional County School expectations for achievement. Ms. Peek's curriculum builds on the base created by our K-4 Pre-K and K-5 Kindergarten Classes and projects students to the next level every year.
Ms. Looney has been teaching for eight years in Pre-K through 12th grade, in both traditional public school and private school settings. She has three children ages eight, six, and three who attend Great Beginnings of Dacula, located here on the Harbins Prep Campus. She enjoys teaching and is thrilled to be back as a returning member of the Harbins Prep Staff.
Ms. Nicole loves being around children. She has been living in the Dacula area for 18 years and has worked with preschool students for years while earning her Elementary Education degree. Ms. Nicole is excited to begin the educational voyage with each of her K-4 students, whether in school for the first time or moving up from Preschool Programs.
Ms. Laura loves working with Pre-K students, working past years in the Georgia Pre-K Program. Ms. Laura is excited to be a part of the Harbins Prep staff for the amazing year that is to come. With a degree in Sociology and an Early Childhood Education certificate, Ms. Laura loves everything about being in the Pre-K classroom. Ms. Laura has two children of her own, a 4 year old daughter and a 7 year old son.
Ms. Cathy has worked in Early Childhood Education for many years. She currently holds a CDA and has taught at Great Beginnings of Dacula since 2015 in the Private Pre-K Program. Ms. Cathy is excited to continue on her voyage of teaching with Harbins Preparatory School and is looking forward to seeing the programs continue to grow!
Ms. Jasmine Heard joins Harbins Preparatory School from Great Beginnings of Dacula, where she has worked with children ages 6 weeks through 12 years old. The students at Harbins Prep benefit from her positive attitude and encouraging personality on a daily basis.
